My project for the Summer 2024 NYU Digital Humanities Graduate Fellowship was to build the initial version of a publicly accessible bilingual English-Arabic digital archive of Arabic-based programming languages, as the basis for the first historical chapter of my dissertation on Arabic-based programming languages and communities, which also includes ethnographic, technical and media-theoretical components.
